NGC 281 is an H11 region in the constellation of Cassiopeia and part of the Perseus Spiral Arm approx 10k LY away. It includes the the open cluster IC 1590, the multiple star HD 5005 (bright star in the middle), and several Bok Globules.

The image contains Narrowband data of 5hrs Ha and 2 hrs each of O3/S2

Taken with an Atik 383+ Mono on Richey-Cretien 250mm F5.4 on NEQ6,guided by PHD/QHY5 camera, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop CS5 in Natural Colour
