Image is M97 the Owl Nebula, a planetary nebula located 2K LY away in Ursa Major. This is the smallest image I have attempted at only 3x3 arc-mins.The central star is a white dwarf. Several galaxies can be seen, two nearby, one of them partially hidden by a star.

Image is LRGB with 2hrs Lum and 30 mins each of RGB (all binned 2x2) taken with an Atik 383+ Mono on Richey-Cretien 250mm F8 on NEQ6,guided by PHD/QHY5 camera, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop CS5.
