NGC2244 is a bright young open cluster of stars in the heart of the Rosetta Nebula.This central area 50 light years across is slowly being evacuated by the hot wind of particles from the cluster. Image is Narrowband Natural colour with a total of 12hrs using Ha/O3and S2 filters. Taken with an Atik 383+ Mono on Richey-Cretien 250mm F5.4 on NEQ6,guided by PHD/QHY5 camera, stacked in DSS and processed in Photoshop CS5 [Ian Smith]
