This picture was created from 48 exposures taken with a Canon 350D camera attached to a 250mm Schmidt-Newtonian telescope on an EQ6 Go-To mount. The exposures were 12 each at 10, 30, 60 and 120 seconds duration. A coma corrector and nebula filter were used. The exposures were made into four stacks in Deep Space Stacker and then layered in Photoshop with burnt out areas in the longer exposures being erased to display the correctly exposed areas of the shorter exposures beneath. After flattening the image further processing using Curves, Colour Balance and Saturation was then applied.
