The Crab Nebula, M1, in Taurus is a supernova remnant that results from the sepernova recorded by Chinese astronomers in the year 1054. It was imaged using the LX200R 14" telescope with the Starlight Xpress SXV H16 CCD camera. Exposure was 20 minutes for the Luminance and 6 minutes each for the R, G and B. Guiding was by the M7C camera on the piggy-back mounted Skywatcher refractor. [Jefferis]
