Despite being 21,000 light years from Earth the globular cluster M13 in Hercules is one of the brightest in the sky and is just visible with the naked eye in really dark conditions. It was imaged here using the LX200R 14" telescope with the Starlight Xpress SXV H16 CCD camera. Exposures were 4 minutes for the Luminance and 1 minute for the R, G and B. [Jefferis]
